Hale o Lono is our demonstration site for traditional aquaculture. On this site is a series of traditional fishponds or loko i‘a. Here the students can learn about the practices of raising fish as well as the overall concept of ma&_macron;lama kai. Workshops on rock wall building, pond maintenance and fish care as well as innovative limu propagation techniques are held here.
